This family day weekend, February 14th to 16th, 2015, children bounce, slide, ride, craft, learn and laugh at Hamilton Kids Fest, sponsored in part by Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo. Kids Fest is Canada’s largest inflatable festival, bringing a variety of fun and educational activities for all children twelve and under.
The inflatables are blown-up and ready for action, so that children can slide, ride and bounce all day. They range from large slides to toddler appropriate rides. On top of the fabulous inflatables, Kids Fest offers shows, interactive activities, games, crafts and more. The shows include: Hamilton’s own, The Reptile Man, Paul Kennedy; entertainer Suzie Sunshine, whose songs parents and kids can enjoy together; cute and bizarre animals with Hands On Exotics; jokes, juggling and magic with Juggle Magic; and education learning for children with Mad Science’s demonstrations of fun chemical reactions.
Other activities, for an additional cost, at the 2015 Kids Fest event include: Motis’ hands-on skateboard-making workshops; ceramic painting; sand art; face painting; and glitter tattoos.
2015 marks Hamilton Kids-Fest’s eighth year of offering families a great outing for Family Day weekend fun. Kids-Fest returns to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (beside Hamilton Airport) from February 14th to 16th, 2015. Parking is free.
